About Airplanes in the Garden: "Whenever I'm asked to be part of a creative project, I feel blessed. Working on Joan's book was an unforgettable experience. It became a close collaboration with two amazingly talented women. Joan made it possible for me to witness for the first time, a butterfly coming out of his chrysalis (I was able to identify the monarch as a male thanks to the book) sharing the experience with my sons."
